• Color – A beautiful shade of Pink with a contrast Blue border

• Technique – True to form Kadiyal technique which helps achieve a border in a sharply contrasting color using multiple changes in warp and the weft shuttle. An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.

• Speciality – Beautiful gossamer fabric, regal kadhua bootis and a fabulous contrast of colours, make this saree a unique gift from Banaras.
