Inspired by abstract art and the carefree texture of brush strokes, our Prerana saree employs the Tanchoi weave in unexpected ways. Playing with a seeming randomness in patterning with 3 colours of resham and a contemporary zari border, Prerana presents a handwoven modern classic which is endlessly versatile and yet, quintessential Banarasi.

• Technique – The finest Tanchoi weaving technique, which employs one or more warps and multiple coloured wefts to produce a self-design which covers the body of the saree. 

• Fabric – Pure Soft Satin Silk

• Speciality – Our series Katha pushes the boundaries of Banarasi weaving via play with visual textures. Through spatial variations in shapes, colours and intensities, our sarees create an illusion of texture which is experienced only visually.
